Have not perused that one. I am less intrigued by cookbooks featuring historically traditional New Orleans cooking, as I think a lot of that cooking is just sort of inherited or absorbed by osmosis.

I really like cookbooks, but I'd say less than 5% of my collection is New Orleans based.

The New Orleans Cookbook by Collins is almost entirely NOLA classics. It even has recipes for traditional smoked and hot sausage. It would be a great one to put in your bomb shelter to preserve NOLA cuisine.
