That said I actually record DDD and I loathe Bourdain. He's a pretentious arse and he lays it on thick. Guy seems like a happy go lucky guy and it's not like he's Adam Richmond, Guy knows what he's talking about. He's a chef. Richmond's just a fat guy who likes to eat.

I'm amazed at what the average American is entertained by. Explains why there is so much shite products out there, food, music, tv, etc

Everything you just said is completely pretentious.

I think he's pretty entertaining and he clearly loves what he does. Never seen or heard of him do anything that would cause me to say he's an a-hole.
Anybody calling him one of the biggest douches in the country can't get past their close-minded simpleton little pea brain that says any guy with dyed hair, tattoos, jewelry, etc. can't be a decent dude.
so what you are saying is you have a huge man-crush

Yeah cooking shows shouldnt take themselves too seriously because at the end of the day it's food. That's it. You're not changing the world.

Tony Bourdain's quote about Guy F.:
"Does anyone enjoy Diners, Drive-ins and Dives less than Guy Fieri? The guy must wake up every day and want to [expletive] kill himself. Another Denver omelet? Oh my god--and I have to feign enthusiasm! Oh great, chili! How do you make that?"

Dont get me wrong, I love a good meal as much as the next guy and can appreciate fine cuisine. But this pretentious bullshite is just ridiculous.

I travel the country weekly on business and have tried about a dozen of the places he features and for the most have been underwhelmed. One that sticks out to me is The Beacon in Greenville?Spartanburg SC...greasy and dirty, he should be ashamed

The ones I have been to out of state are:
The Sunflower Cafe - Sonoma, CA (smoked duck sandwich)
The Red Iguana - Salt Lake City, UT (best Mexican I've had)
Hullaballoo Diner - College Station, TX (Sausage sandwich)
All three were explosions from flavor town!

Your little pretentious shtick is already getting old. If you are a major douche in real life, try being something different on the Internet.

I enjoy watching DDD over No Reservations. Bourdain can get boring at times, and I usually just have DDD on as background noise.
Seeing local places create good food is more interesting to me than watching Bourdain walk around the Ukraine

making fun of people who think Guy Fieri is anywhere near as talented or entertaining as Anthony Bourdain makes one a douche?
you propbably like the advocate food section when they review olive garden and mcdonalds

I just started a thread about the little Dooley. Their fried BBQ ribs were featured on diners, drive ins an dives (my dad said). It was pretty damn good.
