I've looked at the other threads, and aside from some of the great reviews, I would like some recommendations.

I've only been for lunch, so some dinner recs would be appreciated.

Sprinkle the table with several apps...all have been good. Duck duo for the main course. The turtle soup is good, also.

I've heard the duck is great. You ever have the softshell crab Otis? Looked damn good on the menu.

Crab and corn gnochhi and bbq shrimp and grits appetizers and the duck duo for your entree. They pour a fantastic martini there, as well.

Nope, but my opinion wouldn't be valid....I've never eaten a softshell I didn't love.

Gotta disagree. Hendrick's is always my first choice.

I would rank the appetizers as follows:
1. Crab and corn gnocchi (can't be missed, IMO)
2. BBQ Shrimp and Grits
3. Lamb lollipops

All are outstanding.

Went to Stroube's this evening. Another fine meal. Pretty sure it is my favorite restaurant in BR.
