Phoenix is a huge sprawl. Any particular location you're staying in?

If you have time, check out Mission in Old Town Scottsdale. I’m not sure about Phoenix

Food in Phoenix wasn't a memorable part of the trip with one exception. Whilst completely doinked from a long night of galavanting around Scottsdale, my buddy, an Arizona St alum, brought me into this seedy gas station that reminded me of Akasha Express in Tigerland. Inside were the most rediculous burrito concoctions I've ever seen. I have no idea what the name of the place was because I was way too dunk/high to remember. All I know is that it was near the downtown campus.

Here are some solid to amazing spots

Rusconi’s-american
Chelsea’s Kitchen

Crujente Tacos
Gadzooks enchiladas

Pomo-pizza

Rokerij or Richardson’s (New Mexican; lot of food)

Hillstone or Houstons’s

Durant’s steakhouse
Ocean or Steak 44
Quiessence (Farm st South Mtn)
Kai

Paradise Burger (fast food but exceptional; off Bell rd)

Little Miss Barbeque

I’d look them up as prices vary depending on what you’re wanting to do. Also, Flavors of India on 16th street is pretty authentic Indian food, which is to say-delicious.

I just ate at Mission on friday night. It was good, but honestly, nothing about it was memorable.

Now, if you find yourself in Sedona, Mariposa is the tits.

I tried In-N-Out Burger for the first time while there for the Fiesta. It was the most disappointing burger I've ever had. So much hype...for nothing.

LOlo's Chicken and Waffels was good. Tom's Thumb was good as well. Over Easy and Paradise Valley Burger were very good.
All were Diner's, Driveins and Dives.

I'm assuming you mean Paradise valley burger company here, which is an excellent lunch/fast casual spot with unique burger options.

In addition to your suggestions I'd add Cornish Pasty Company for something different and good beer on tap.

Also La Grande Orange Pizza is great (ironically pizza is one of the things metro Phoenix area does extremely well, there are lots of great options).

Los Reyes de torta is good hole in wall Mexican in North Phoenix.

the downtown location usually has a long wait but there is another one at camelback colonnade that is easier to get into and out of.

that downtown location has 3 incredible pizza joints within walking distance of one another - pizzeria bianco, pomo, and cibo.
