I have an idea for a Margarita that uses real, fresh seawater

Drink at your own risk. You watch the server scoop the ingredient straight out of the sea. Big novelty drink at the touristy tiki bar. Would this work? Does it already exist?

Sounds kinda gross to me....but most of the seawater I've had the misfortune to swallow was around Grand Isle. Perhaps non-brown seawater tastes better?

I don't need whale semen and tourist urine in my margarita, but thanks.

Not judging if that's what you're into, though.

This is crystal clear Carribean island water. The icky factor is the appeal. It's adventurous (and gimmicky)

Is it gluten free? If so, the So Cal crowd will jump aboard. Make sure to charge extra for the sea water

WTF? If I wanted to get sick and shite water for weeks, I'd be all for this.

You have big bucks invested in Pfizer stock?

They make Lomotil.

Sadly for you, there are generics out there now.

I guess you cold have lots of Dr. Reddy stock also.

So, Amiright?

There is actually a bar that does this in either Cozumel or Jamaica. I forget which one and what the name of it is. It's actually not bad if I remember correctly.

You would have to pasteurize it, but then my first thought was to infuse with lime zest and I could definitely do some fun things with it in margaritas. Don’t listen to the haters... best part of making drinks is thinking outside the box.
