I grew up in Chicagoland....Jack's is my shite for a good frozen pizza. They started carrying it down here in GA a couple years back and I buy them all the time. Nothing better than a suped-up Jack's pizza...throw some extra toppings, whole milk mozz, and cook that shite a bit longer, it's fricking amazing.
The disrespect El Pres gave to Jack's is a goddamn travesty. That said, I love his reviews outside of Jack's. He either cooked that thing in a microwave or only threw it under the broiler for a couple mins. I've cooked Jack's all my life and they're always crispy thin crust, not that broken-arse floppy crust Dave had.
Also, while Portnoys pizza reviews are gold, it would only be right to mention the WonTon Don on the FDB. In fact, I'm making goons this weekend.

Ordered 2 Lou Malnatis for a Chicago transplant. He said it was ok for frozen, just not the same as getting it in Chicago. Toppings were good but the crust was weird. Way too crusty and crunchy for me.

They just opened some up.
I ordered the Taste of New Haven. I get 6 pizzas - I guess three traditional plain and three mozzarella.
fricking delivery date of June 18th, though...
In the last three days I've spent over $200 to buy and ship pizza to me.
