I cooked turkey spaghetti on Friday night. Is it still good to eat?

Definitely man. I ate some chicken yesterday for lunch that we cooked last Wednesday. shite wasn't tasting too good, but it was fine health wise.

Yeah, I'm kind of scared of eating leftovers. I got food poisoning once and it was one of the most awful and embarrassing experiences of my life. Thanks for the reassurance, guys.

My rule of thumb is that leftovers are OK for a week in the fridge. After that, they need to either go in the freezer or the trash. It's worked out fine for me.

I'll eat food a week old. IDGAF. It's never got me sick either.

That being said, my wife won't eat something that's two days old and it drives me nuts.

I cook all my meals on Sunday and eat them throughout the entire week until the next Sunday, as long as it didn't sit out for a while. Still good, I'm still living.

I have a one week rule as well. Seafood is the exception and is day to day after 3 days. If it passes the smell test then I'll eat it.

In the fridge since Friday? Sure.

Sitting on the counter since Friday? Probably not.

My wife refuses to touch food that's older than three days. Drives me crazy. I would love to knock out meals for Monday-Friday on a Sunday afternoon.
