I have about a gallon left that are 10 days old they seem fine right now, will the still be good Sunday for LSU game? Or should I just toss em and cook a new batch.

Freeze them then warm them up by boiling a few minutes

There's probably enough salt to keep them safe from bacteria. I would heat them to 160f or so before serving just in case.

I keep enough in the fridge for about a week. I freeze all I can't eat in a week in gallon bags.

About 4-5 days.

I've got a container in the fridge that I thawed out last weekend. They've got a suspect chalky film on them, so they're getting tossed. I'm cleaning out the deep freeze to make room for this fall's boil (two bushels at Halloween), so I'll just grab another sack from last year.

I'm ready to toss them after a week or so, if they last that long. I don't cook but maybe 4-5 lbs. at a time, so between the wife and I, we tend to eat them before they go off.

My dad used to freeze a couple of dozen plastic bags of boiled peanuts for several months. We didn't reboil them, just let them thaw at room temperature.

I have a few ziplocks in the freezer now. I thaw out and eat as needed.
