It's far from unhealthy. I was merely pointing out the only real downside I could think of, that being the occasional introduction of coconut milk, only if you're watching you're cholesterol or fat intake, but it's not in every Thai dish. For the record, I use coconut milk regularly as a substitute for heavy cream.

I buy canned coconut milk all the time. Full of healthy fats, little calories, and barely any carbs. Sometime I buy the reduced fat kind which is even healthier.
Coconut milk for cooking isn't the same as cream of coconut and such.

Didn't take time to look this up, but my opinion is that fat content is not nearly aw high and calories are likely lower on Thai food.
