For the record, I'm not arguing it is. I've run across people who look at these transplants as sort of interlopers, though. I believe, on the whole, it is a positive for the "scene."

Oh yea, I know.

It’s a cool cycle. A lot of these transplants are coming up through your well established restaurants. Then they’re branching out and opening new, unique concepts on their own. There reach is starting to stretch beyond your typical magazine, WHD, Quarter locations. It’s good for the city. Like St Claude Ave is building up a nice little stretch of places. Who would’ve thought?
