That's what I was suspecting but figured I'd ask in case.

DeLuca's Pizza is just north of the downtown tourist area and has some damned good pizza. Make a dinner reservation so they will save you some dough. They often run out early on weekends. You can eat lunch there too, and that is usually not crowded at all. I like the Italian sausage and the meatball pies. They come in one size: huge.

The Ohio Club is right in the middle of the action. Decent bar with really good burgers and sandwiches.

Via Roma. Only went once, a few weeks ago, but it had some good Italian food in a dark and quiet setting. Our waiter was Italian or a good faker.

Park Avenue Bistro: I hear good things about this "upscale" place but have not been able to go. Looking forward to trying it.

Mexican or Latin: Rolando's downtown, Taco Mama (casual and good; try the roasted jalapenos on the salsa bar), and La Bodeguita (taco shop in the back of a Mexican grocery store) are good choices.

McClard's for BBQ is the famous name and often has a line. It gets mixed reviews, but we liked the food, service, and vibe. I know some who prefer Smokin' in Style. It's okay, but I don't see any woodpiles or smell any smoke around their place.

Jahna's for Italian. Really enjoyed this place. Great service, steak was excellent, her veal Marsala was great for her. She loved the crabcake appetizer. Although its yelp rating is 2 dollar signs, should prob be 3. Food was worth the money though.

For breakfast, Phil's Restaurant on the main drag. Great breakfast joint, daily specials for lunch. Chicken and Dumplings when we visited. Probably the world's LARGEST hotcake – beware. They bring 2! Breakfast/ Lunch 7-230p.

Same. The only reason I did not list it is it's a bit far from where most visitors go.

Bonus: Tri-Lakes Liquor next door is pretty decent.

Craft Beer Cellar downtown is a good place to shop for package beer or sit and drink from the several beers on tap.
