Klement 100% beef hotdogs

Usually just eat them with yellow mustard, potentially with white onions too.

Hebrew National. Boiled.

Favorite toppings:
mustard
raw white onions
slaw
chili
sauerkraut

My daughter lives in Morgantown and the slaw dogs in nearby Fairmont are great.

100 years ago, we did a "weird toppings" hot-dog night. Cream cheese didn't suck.

I have memories of just boiled dogs (like ham sandwiches on white bread with mayo and pepper, or toasted white bread, with bacon and mustard for breakfast) as a kid. I haven't had a hot dog in decades. Good luck and Happy 4th of July!!!

I call it hot dog roulette....the wife and kids prefer a dog charcoal grilled with a little char/burnt on them, while that is a no go for the grandkids....no char for them.

Same with burgers, always over charcoal, some want thinner patties, some want thick patties, some with bbq while on grill, some with cheese etc.

I love it, makes me feel like a waffle house short order cook.

Honest Dogs at Whole Foods are really great. Good flavor and the perfect amount of snap after a pan fry with a splash of water.

Here's a great article from the BBC on the birth of the Hot Dog. Very interesting and now I want to try a Feltman's Hot Dog!!

This is a good video comparing hot dog brands.

He does SEC football stuff in season, but in the off-season he does stuff like this.

My hot dog preference- I'll eat a hot dog just about any way, but my go-to is just yellow mustard and pickle relish. As far as a brand, my wife always mixes it up. Sometimes it's just Oscar Meyer, sometimes it's some designer hot dog, I don't really pay attention. Just crisp up on the grill and eat them.

I think if we took all the major ones that most everyone thinks are good, blindfolded and taste test everyone, they would be surprised which ones they like the best. People that like a higher end hotdog very well may say the Bryan’s test the best.

Nathan's dragged through the garden on a poppyseed bun.

Putting ketchup on a hot dog is disgusting af.

Grilled is the best but if im lazy or bad weather I'll pull out the griddle and cook em up on that. Not a stickler for brands but usually go Nathan's. Chili dogs are great by i rarely make those. Usually some cheese, creole or Cuban mustard and kimchi because i have that in the fridge. Tots or fries for a side. Hot dogs are a lazy night cooking so I usually just go with what I have. Id eat them just fine with a slice of wheat bread but the wife turns her nose up at such things.

We always boil then grill. Another way if it’s bad weather or too hot is to put in the air fryer after boiling. Crisps up just right.

We like to warm our buns in the airfryer too.
