I shoulda stayed longer and ate more but my back was killing me for some reason.

I tried that one. R2R got me on that one. As I recall, he couldn't handle the heat. That was a tasty bite!

Wasn't that the Company burger/Cowbell offering? I didn't try as they ran out, looked really good.

They won everything last year, they try to avoid repeat winners.

I am not aware of a rigged system, but this is a charity event. I don't even know what dish came in first place, but I'm sure they would like to have the award passed around.

The judging was blind--roughly 4-6 judges each tasted an anonymous flight of 4-6 dishes and scored them independently. The scores were then tabulated across all of the entries.

That's fine, I wasn't trying to impune the motives of the judges. Just joking around. Hope the winning teams dish was good. I didn't try it.
