They added a few more today but those sold out before our friends got there. That was the best bite we had this weekend.

The mud was a pain in the arse, but we had a blast. Great energy. Good music. Good food. Feels good participating with a great charity.

I really loved it, and will definitely be participating every year. Hopefully for both days in the future.

Only complaints are the mud and everything being sold out tonight when I was ready for another round of gorging

Will post some of my food pics when I get home.

They did a good job. We had a few of these variants and these guys look like they brined and then did a rub and smoke. Very good.

To me a few others just did a rub and smoke , no brine.

yeah the mud was kind of a drag.
Friday night was perfect so at least we got one good day without it.

hogs is the best festival of the year.
the food is incredible, great music and everyone is in a good mood with no overbearing security or choking crowds

two minor complaints

1) at certain times in certain areas the taped amplified music both from the stages and the booths can be overwhelming and uncomfortable. Kinda harshes my mellow. Maybe some common sense loudness guidelines would be useful

2) the event is for kids and is heavily attended by families. Frequent F-bombs and profanity from the music stages was a little unwelcome. Easy fix and again common sense. It’s just out of place there

Frasco (great show otherwise) and “boyfriend” (talk about out of place) were the two worst offenders

I have no idea what they were thinking booking that shite

hopefully never again.
I’m sure she/they are popular but it just isn’t that kind of event

No idea why he would be there or the LSU connection, but they are opening a Virgin hotel in NOLA this summer so maybe that has something to do with him being here?

Agree with the music. It's not that I didn't enjoy it, but it seemed out of place.

I remember walking by, hearing "frick me doggystyle in the hearse", while some chick puked her guts into a garbage can and little kids everywhere, and thinking that was my que.

Wow. Was this Friday night or yesterday? I can see Friday night since that's known as the big drunken party night, but that's way out of place for Saturday.

it was Friday
and that was what I was talking about. It was a gal with curlers in her hair swear-rapping with a bunch of drag queens. I mean I could see how in different setting they’d have been a decent party set but not at hogs. The crowd definitely wasn’t into it

I can’t imagine the nightmare it must be trying to load out of that place right now. Ankle deep black gooey mud everywhere and a steady rain

The entire weekend was awesome, even with the mud and rain.

I’m not out there today but guys on our team are drinking and watching trucks getting stuck in the mud.
