Well now you have your definitive answer.

Enjoy your burger at _____________.

I don't understand why people start these threads.

There is almost no credibility in any answer because of the vast differences of opinion.

Oh, I don't know...maybe I would simply like to hear the opinions and critiques of the two establishments I listed, compile the data, and make a decision. It is rather that simple.

There is nothing wrong with Red Robin. The Whiskey River BBQ burger...

Fat cow has really high quality ingredients from bun to vegetables to meat. If you don't think its great, then you have no taste.

Fat Cow is not good. They cut their beef with tons of cold butter, so it tastes like a sausage patty. No thank you.

As often as OP talks about burgers on here, I saw no mention of the places their board regularly agrees are the best around BR. No Barcadia.. no Flemings.. no Mason's.. not even the Portabello's burger. If he's going to spend so much time debating burgers on this website, why would he ignore what I know he has seen mentioned over and over as the best? Seems like you'd want to find the best of something you clearly have an obsession with

According to Lnchbox it is the worst in BR.
According to Nolababy it is a quality burger

Since none of the statements are "true" it is a perfect example of why these threads are idiotic. (yet here I am. )

The threads are stupid because, just like pizza, some people love shitty burgers. Myself being one of them.

While I think Flemings has the best quality burger in the city, you can easily catch me grabbing a greasy thin-meat type of burger too. Same for pizza. I have a 4-pack of Totinos in my fridge.

The whole "I spit it out and threw the whole thing away" stuff is BS. There are far better burgers out there than these chain places. But they are NOT vomit-worthy

None of the above.
Go big or go home:
Either go to Flemings for their $7 happy hour burger from 5-7 or go to Barcadia.

You'll notice he's getting nothing but downvotes. Just because one guy goes against the grain doesn't mean there isn't a consensus about the place.

I have pretty much stopped eating those types of burgers for the most part. Basically, I have 3 tiers of burgers that I consume:
Cheap: Ida Burger from River Queen ($3.90) or the burger combo from Wags ($3.99)
Mid tier: Little bacon Cheeseburger from 5 Guys or the chicken burger from Raul's
GOATS: Fleming's (happy hour if I can get it) or Barcadia (when it's not happy hour)

I find Burgersmith and Fat Cow to be pretty good, but not as good at their price point to beat out any of the above mentioned.

I pretty much agree with you. I don't go to Mooyah, Five Guys, etc. much because the prices aren't less than the top tier places.

Although I'd add Mason's to your mix. I think they do a great med-rare bacon cheeseburger. It is huge and includes fries or o-rings... and $8.25 isn't too bad for what it is.

I've been meaning to try theirs for years, but it's just so out of the way for me. I can count on one hand the number of times I've even been within 2 miles of that place in the last year.

Ok, I have been eating healthy and exercising like a madman for nearly 8 weeks. I have lost 30+ pounds.

If you don't mind me asking, what was your routine for that time? I've been trying to lose weight for a few months now, but have been having lots of trouble getting into a solid routine (inconsistency with work hours has definitely been playing a role).

Totally true. There is a level of hyperbole that ruins credibility for me.

"worst in BR" comes close to that. Is it really the worst?

Of its competition, it is. Someone has to be the worst in a group.

ETA: I'm not saying it's inedible or even bad. But it is literally the last place I would go to for a non McDonald's type burger.

This is your standard? C'mon, you are a quality source. This is a bit much.

p.s. Update is 2 upvotes and 3 downvotes

It's 1 and 1 for your post.

It's a perfectly acceptable standard in this instance IMO.

His first post suggesting Fat Cow has 7 downvotes and zero upvotes. His post you're referencing is more saying the two places in the OP are shite, which is what people are likely upvoting.

Nah. Lean, grass-fed ground beef is a better choice.
