Pequods for pizza.
Note to all - If pan pizza is part of your Chicago plan, Milly's clears Pequod's. Enjoy then head to Larry's for a couple cocktails.

We haven’t tried Molly’s yet. It’s certainly a hot ticket right now. Family is close to Pequod’s and it’s a favorite for delivery as a consequence. Lou Malnati’s is 200 yards from the house…I prefer Pequod’s. I’m sure plenty don’t.
One of our best pizza experiences was a raid on Moretti’s in Des Plains a while back. Their pan pie with pepperoni, sausage and Hot Giardiniera was off the chain and my favorite so far.

Milly's got blown apart by the Timeout list, for sure. Robert was dishing pies out of a ghost kitchen in Logan during COVID. I'm not even a big deep dish / pan guy but he does incredible stuff.
As I type this out, I totally forgot he's shutting Uptown location and moving to West Town this month. Berwyn still there, which was second location and it came quickly. He's done so well.

For breakfast, M. Henry & Bongo Room are both pretty dang awesome, especially the Blackberry Blisscakes at the former.

Probably OK, since Tuesday is a significantly less crowded night for eating out, but be warned that La Scarola is notorious for seating reservations meaningfully late - like, 30 minutes. Again, think you'll be fine since it's a Tuesday but just a quick heads up.
What do you have planned for breakfast and lunch? My thread on the Travel board is loaded with recommendations but a few quick options to help you out:
- Chicago has seen a complete boom in the breakfast sandwich category. Seems like everyone has been getting into it. Some places are older than others but most popular of them all are Kasama, Allez Cafe, Loaf Lounge, and Spinning J.
- Not sure how you approach lunch, but good time to get sandwiches with the warm weather. I'm partial to L&M, Lardon, Tempesta Market, JP Graziano, Fontano's, and Nonna Soluri's.

Where are you staying? Who is with you (IE kids, spouse, colleagues)? What do you want to see?
Realize the city is about ten times larger than NOLA and we need a little guidance as to what you want and where you are.

Phil's Pizza or George's Gyros, for sure, but I'd also suggest trying some spots inside Guaranteed Rate. There are some very good vendors.
If you're planning to do any drinking beforehand, Turtle's and Cork & Kerry typically have a fun crowd.
