Has it been discussed how trash Whataburger is now after the buy out?

When traveling and needing somewhere quick to stop my go to stops are Chick-fil-a and Whataburger. Well the other day we stopped at Whataburger and they have changed everything. It is barely a step above McDonald’s anymore and that’s what the patty actually looked like, was McDonald’s. Looks like I’ll be switching to Wendy’s.

Well this thread is starting to give me hope. Maybe I just stopped at a terrible whataburger

I might just go get whataburger right now to prove you are an idiot.

Patty seems different, thinner or something. Next time I’ll go with a double but overall Whataburger is low on the list.

It was mediocre before the supposed buyout.

Nothing has changed. Wait time is still shite but the menu is still great.

I have come to realize some locations just aren’t very good. After the buy out I experienced some very poor meals and it turned me off of the chain for a few months.

The last 4-5 times have been great though and I’ve just avoided the location near me since.

there are 5 of them in my mini-metropolis. 2 are quick and efficient, 3 are slow. food is good at all of them except the one closest to me can tend to get orders wrong pretty regularly.

I've always put Whataburger above Sonic, Jack in the Box and In-N-Out, but below McDonald's, Wendy's and Five Guys. Probably on Par with Burger King.

I ate Whataburger for the first time leaving Biloxi in March. It was outfrickingstanding. Best fast food burger I’ve ever eaten. Took longer to get than most places, but well worth it.
