My wife and I enjoy trying out new restaurants as often as possible, but lately we've been disappointed with our findings.

TIA

The one in Lafayette? I'm pretty sure it only opened within the past year and a half or so. I just haven't heard much about it so I guess that should tell me enough.

Have you tried Bon Temps Grill yet? It's a casual place to get decent food.

Also, Masala deserves a visit if you haven't been there yet.

We went there in December. It was really good and the hibachi chef was very entertaining. The kids loved it.

It's been open for longer than that(2010 I believe). I'm guessing I went in 2011 or so.

Sure thing. It wasn't bad, just wasn't what I think of when I think hibachi. They try to be creative with it, I think the steak I had was served with some red wine reduction sauce. I wasn't impressed with their fried rice. I think my brother and parents enjoyed their meals, but I can't remember their order.

Dozo is run by the same people as Shangrila. They got rid of the habatchi in Shangrila and re opening n oyster/sports bar in that area of the restaurant. I've never been in Dozo, but Shangrila is always good......
Bon Temps is great!! Unfortunately, its on the other side of the planet from me. Off da Hook is good as well.
