The weather here has been crappy so logged a bunch of TV time. I keep seeing the damn square copper pot/skillet that is about 4" deep and apparently impervious to everything except a direct hit by a bunker buster. Anybody break down and get one of them? Do they perform as touted?

No, but my ex had some green pans. Those things were legit.

I see those adds and I think "I have GOT TO have one of those."

Haven't pulled the trigger yet though.

Good thing is that "you get two" as an added bonus, all for the low price of $19.99

I bought one of those a few months ago. I couldn't even get scrambled eggs off it even in the dishwasher. Had to scrub and scrub and then could remove them. When I complained they told me to pay to send it back and they'd send me a replacement. I told them I didn't want another piece of crap so just refund my money. Finally they gave in and I eventually got a credit.

The one shown on TV with everything just sliding off is totally fixed. Must be trick photography or something. I would love to have a pan that does what the TV shows this one doing but sorry but this one fails.

I think I have seen advertisements for 2 different but very similar "copper pans". Maybe I bought the wrong one?

If you have one and it matches what is shown on TV let me know.

The one OP is talking about is the one that they throw in some peppermints in the cellophane wrapper, melt them all down, then wipe the pan out clean with a paper towel.

I've seen the commercials as well and I have been intrigued. I've seen two, Gotham Steel and Red Copper Pan. I've looked at a few youtube reviews, and the red copper pan seems to have gotten better ones. I'm still skeptical, but I really want it to work.

Question: I can order one for $19.99 and they'll throw in a second one for free.

Why cant I just get one for $9.995?

We bought the Red Copper one at Bed Bath and Beyond and I gotta say, it isn't as good as they show on television but it is by far the best non-stick pan we own. I don't have to scrub anything off of it. Just water from the kitchen sprayer. Very convenient.
