Has anyone been to Whole Foods since they were bought out by Amazon?

Word is they have cut their costs a good bit. Even if they cut costs a good bit, wouldn't they either still be more expensive than the local grocery store, or close to the same price? I can get high falutin groceries at my local grocery store now. What would entice me to go out of my way to find a whole foods?

I've been twice since the change. The price for Halo Top ice cream did not change (and for those who shop at Drug Emporium, their prices even beat Walmart on Halo Top).
The Whole Foods new price for frozen riced cauliflower is $1.99 for a 12 oz. bag. That's a very good price.
I didn't really price shop anything else.

Damn, we eat quite a bit of this stuff. Target is usually $4.99.

I've noticed a few tags that say "Was this price, now this price!" here and there
mostly boxed stuff though, so not much of what I buy
