Anyone here ever had one?
I saw that the owner reopened as the only way to keep the place going...I may be some dumb guy from the wank, but seems to me a sno-ball stand is the perfect place for social distancing...

Hers is one of the few "snow ball stands" where you walk inside a building to order. I don't know if she altered this for the reopening.
They are good, but not worth waiting an hour for, as you can typically need to do to get one.

OK, it's like that place in Old Algiers where my mother liked to go...on Seguin St. by the playground...
all she needs to do is put a table at the door and get a couple of high school kids to go down the line and take orders...

Duh, the place is legendary. 87( or close to that) years and counting. You can call in your order, pay w cc, then they’ll bring it out to your car.
I could go for a satsuma or a cream of coconut. Or a cafe sno-lait.....

keep in mind, I grew up on the wank and left for the Army at 18...had no idea about Hansen's until a couple of years ago...
my normal sno-ball stop is Sal's in Metarie...

I was definitely going to make a joke since Hansen's is by far the most famous snoball stand in NOLA and generally considered to be the best (or at least one of the best). But I was beaten to it.
