Quite nice, not as robust as the 16 and more buttery but still with sweat smoke and peat. Anyone else try anything new in the whiskey world lately.

Just tried Highland Park 12. I liked it. Really smooth for a Pretty moderately priced single malt. Some peat and smoke but not as potent as a lgavulin or laphroig. I like that style whisky, but nice to have something a little milder for friends who aren't into liquid campfires.
Only downside was that it tasted a little weak, almost watered down. Still a good bottle for 40 bucks.

HP 12 is a good scotch for a good price for sure. A little smokey, peaty and a little salty with a nice sherry finish.
