That's a weird reply for them to outright deny it like that. I can see them deflecting, and I suppose I can see that happening but as said I've been drinking bottle beers for over 15 years and I've never experienced that off flavor.

I will say I used to think people were full of shite that preferred bottles over cans, but there's multiple beers that definitely taste better out of a bottle whether that be the recipe is different or just the container?

Parish just posted this Nova Vert (FKA Opus) picture.

The bottled Nova I've got in the past couple months do not look anything like this.

I had the same problem with the metallic taste in the last batch I bought. And I didn't do anything like what was in that email. I think there is an issue.

Cans are now in at Calandros. I’ll be curious to see if they taste different. Part of me feels like the beer is just changing similar to the yeast issue they had in the past. Commotion has been different every time I’ve had it as well.

Reve also in store.

I just had an Envie on tap at Overpass Merchant. Tasted better, actually, than what I remembered.

Update. I finally get brave enough to try the Envie again and did the pour in the glass thing. Much, much better! It did have a strange 'bottle cap' finish rather than upfront in your face. But, that subsided the more I drank. I guess it was the caps to begin with.
