Passed yesterday and saw a guy with a giant smoker going in his driveway and signs about brisket for sale. Has anyone on here tried any of the BBQ from this guy?

He's been out there for a long time, so someone enjoys his cooking. I've been tempted to stop by there, but I'm usually not turning onto that part of Mid-City from Park Blvd.

quote:You are speaking of Brothers BBQ. I am pretty sure he moved, I know he now has a place in addis or brusly, i get the 2 confused but it's the one thats furtherest from the bridge.
He's been out there for a long time,
The new place is owned by Blaze Ragussa, the guy that has the auto repair shop on the corner of gov't and whatever the name of the street corner br high is on. I think he is calling it Ragussa's Burgers. It is in the exact same screened in spot Brothers was.
Brothers was very good but I found they were too inconsistent with having product to sell. If you did not go early you were out of luck many times.... another killer for a resturant IMO.

He moved down govt. towards downtown about a year ago. He also has the place across the bridge.
