My man, raise the heat just a little on your stove... . And an even better tip, get your oil to 325 before adding the flour. But have your stirring spoon ready and your onions chopped.

I guess I could go faster. I like to get it as dark as fudge and usually use about 3 cups of flour.

It could also be that I drink beer the whole time
