I've eaten there a couple times. It's a solid gumbo joint for the quarter, and fairly reasonable.

The gumbo was pretty good. Friend had the redfish and potatoes. She said it was real good as well. Nice to eat some real bread and not the crap I have to eat up here.

Have always thought it was solid. And yes, the building is awesome. One of the few choices in the Quarter that is both pretty good and priced right.
