Fisherman's Corner in Perdido Key, Florida is unbelievable. It is BYOB and the dishes are incredible. The chef is from NOLA. His dishes are true Creole dishes. So much better than the FLA seafood restaurants down there.

LINK (website looks bad, but the place is awesome)

106.7 right?

I have to bring my kids to religion class at 6, I might bring along some Gin and Hennessy and sip on that while listening then bring them home.

OP, come to the city, eat at Peche for lunch, Cochon for Supper then head home.

I would say peche is worth the drive. But why stop with just one? If you're going to drive all that way for one meal, might as well stay the weekend and eat at a couple of great restaurants in nola

Would love to, but school has me on a pretty tight schedule. Might take LL's suggestion and get lunch somewhere and then Peche later.

Yes. It's a classic older black person's party. Music with a dj giving shout outs and talking to the crowd.

Not sure at the moment, actually. Don't really want to be in NO for game time

Ah okay. Well, I assume that means no Sunday either.
Was just going to let you know all Donald Link restaurants are closed on Sundays.

But a weekday will be a great day in the city with everyone working.. especially with this weather

Guess they changed it.

Calling people makes me nervous, so I avoid it when possible.

I like Peche, but I sure as heck wouldn't drive 3 hours just to go there.

I can see that in the younger generation since they text all the time. But I feel like we're close in age.

What do you recommend at Fisherman's Corner? I went once and didn't really think it was anything special

I know a few grown men who make their wife call their doctors and stuff for them

I'm not alone!
