I have a few cans of guava paste and was looking for ways to use it beside just slicing or putting in a pastry. I have never used it before so any ideas would be helpful.

Guava and cream cheese empanadas or turnovers....yum.
I kind of grew up with guava jelly on homemade biscuits and my grandmother's house. Good stuff.

The Caribbean & Polynesian islands make a glaze that's great on chicken & pork.
Substitute it in sweet& sour chicken or other glazed Chinese food recipes.

We grill chicken all the time, I'll try and make a glaze!
