albertsons/chris's for meat
neighborhood walmark for everything else
ralphs for quick stops

i'll also pick up sale items at albertsons, or if i have the energy, i'll sort out their sale ads and bring them to the walmark to get the sales there instead, with all my other groceries. albertsons is high on most non-sale stuff, but i absolutely refuse to eat walmark meat.

as do i; at the wal-mart near me, the produce is always terrible; that alone keeps me out....not to mention it is always too crowded and they never have enough cashiers/employees.

I would love to have a Rouse's in the old Spuper Fresh/A&P site at Coursey & Sherwood. Right now its a mess, Winn Dixie for everyday quickies, Fresh Pickins for produce, Sam's for meats.

Off the Hook is now my seafood store, they haven't been open 2 weeks and I've been there 5 times.

I buy all my produce from Southside and Fresh PIckin's. IMO, you're a fool to buy produce from anywhere other than a produce market. The prices and quality are generally unbeatable.

Are any of you old enough to remember Green Stamps? You got them at the store, put them in books and got a lot of cheap crap at a redemption store. I had 70 books when they went out of business.
