Grilled donut ice cream sandwich

Made this treat this past weekend and it was a real favorite so I thought I’d share. It’s very easy.

1) Cut donuts in half and grill for 2-3 min.
2) Cut container off a pint of ice cream of your choosing and slice the ice cream in circles.
3) Add sprinkles and whatever other toppings.

Back at my old job, we would often have leftover donuts. For lunch, I'd take a day old donut, cut in half and toast both sides. Then either fry an egg or make a little scrambled egg patty. So good, and only took about 3 minutes to cook. Great use for leftover donuts.
