I normally get fresh green onion sausage at Terranova’s. They’re closed for the holiday. Any other neighborhood grocery in the city makes good sausage?

Veron's should be readily available or non-smoked, rouses.

I've found Rouses to have a decent green onion sausage.

However, I've gotten to where I prefer to make my own when pork butts go on sale and really enjoy making all the varieties of pork sausage I make.

I've bought fresh sausage from Dorignac's in the past and always been pleased. Another option besides those referenced above

Creole Country is made in Mid City. I think they sell at their location and at all local groceries.

Chris's in Lakeview will have green onion sausage available that they make in house

I also like Rouses version, and I’ve never had anything bad from Creole Country. In fact, I went to buy some Rouses yesterday and they had nothing but jalapeño popper sausage. No thanks. I’ve been burned enough by the off the wall creations of their kitchen lab. I was hoping to find someone that had tried their bourbon dry-aged ribeyes over Father’s Day but at $25/lb I doubt there were many takers.

I love green onion sausage!

Someone already mentioned it- Chris’ Specialty Meats in Lakeview (Pontchartrain Blvd at Harrison) makes an excellent example.
