Anyone here roast their own? Do you have a source for un roasted beans in Nola ?

Hit up one of the smaller local roasters and ask if they will hook you up for a small amount. Congregation and Mojo are two I think might be willing to do so.

Before I started buying from Sweet Marias, Whole Foods in Baton Rouge would sell me green beans. Not sure if they still will, or if it was a hookup I was getting.

I highly recommend Sweet Marias. They have some constant blends, but a cool rotation of varieties. The magic price point is 8 or 12 lbs and it ships for USPS flat rate. They do some sample packs and it's a great way to try things in 1-lb increments. I've roasted my own for 7 or 8 years now using a FreshRoast hot air roaster. (I'm on my second one)
