Crack it open for thanksgiving dinner IMO but either or, I've never aged any beer, yet I'm a rookie.

Get 2, age one and drink the other. This will allow you to figure out what you like
It's really a personal preference
For me I like a yr or 2 on it

Don't age it too long. Once it goes past 3 years, its almost undrinkable

Definitely not undrinkable, but the prime appears to be 2 years.

Drank a '15 last night. I preferred that one fresh. Maybe 2 years is the sweet spot

I don't but several people do, I guess I could but my beer fridge is in my back patio so every time the door opens it gets hit by sunlight. I use an extra closet with a shoe rack for my beer "cellar."

Definitely drink one age one. Grand Reserve was the first beer I ever had aged and really opened my eyes to what aging can do for a beer. I have a four roses barrel aged grand reserve I think I will open for Christmas..

I'm not going to act like I know what I'm doing when it comes to aging because I don't, but I kept the beers in the back of a closet for the past couple of years because I didn't have any extra fridge space.

I recently moved to a new place and came into a spare fridge so I moved to there.

I opened the 2013 tonight and I prefer it to the 2015 I drank a few weeks ago. Not sure if it's because of the aging or the batch, though.
