You're not going to find it just sitting on the shelf, buy bottles, talk to liquor managers or store owners, and establish relationships. It's a stupid game, but that's the game to play if you want allocated bottles.

that's not what BackDoor9 is saying though. He's jumping in here sporting his Affliction shirt telling OP that Blan'uns is everywhere and easy to get. That's a flat out lie. Do stores have it? Yes. Is it everywhere? No. Will the stores who have it just hand it out to the random feller who waltzes in asking for "dat Blan'uns?" No they do not. They reserve it for their regular customers.
There are two sides to this entire BT craze that are equally annoying: there are those who only hunt all things BT so they can show off their new purchases, and then there are those who act as if all things BT is crap and that it's easy to get at anytime yet they just don't bother.
OP may or may not be the former, but BackDoor9 is definitely the latter. The hilarity is that he posts tater shite all the time in the whiskey thread, yet he comes strutting in here trying to shite on OP for the same shite he does.
The reality is that Blantons and all BT products are way overhyped, but they are still good products to have. The stupid pissing contest has gotten out of control

Are you sure? I know more than one store owner, and they aren't pushing the volume of a place like Rouses or any of the big box stores, and they get at least a case of Blanton's and a case of Eagle Rare every month.

Yea over the last two years it’s been very limited.
A high volume singular Rouses might have gotten 6-8 cases last year. Probably less though.

Good for you RichJ. Blanton's has recently sparked a controversy in the Bourbon world. Its a great pour and somewhat hard to find. As long as you are excited and happy about the bottle. Great for YOU. None of these D-bags with a sorry bourbon collection.
