Honestly, you should go to the little sleepy town of Slidell. Maybe you can hit up the Scuttlebutt or a nice place in Old Town.

Dinner is like a million good places. Drinks Id say Barley Oak at the lakefront or Chimes further into Covington, Rubys often has cool music.
