Looking for suggestions, meeting some friends from Georgia. Something kinda casual with good atmosphere.

Roberto's is a little bit if a drive, but it's got a nice "down the river" feel to it.

Parrain's fits the bill.

The list maybe shorter of restaurants not to visit.
Some good suggestions:
Louisiana Lagniappe
Ruffino's
Parrain's
Acme (I don't like it, but most do)
Mike Anderson's
Roux & Boil (I've never been tho)
Stroube's
I'd recommend Ruffino's

Parrains and Robertos are both excellent choices

How old are you and your friends?
Parrains is a really good choice for everyone. Chimes if you're around college age or don't mind hanging around campus and want to drink a bit.
