Went here, is good.

Must have been some greek formals that night because of the way people were dressed, and the females were so good looking it made us all angry.

With fries and a chocolate shake.

Wonderfully disgusting or disgustingly wonderful.

Dolce Vitta Trattoria (Italian)
Taste of India (Indian)
Siri Thai (Thai)
Shokitini (Japanese, with private karaoke rooms)
Trapeze (pub)
The Globe (pub)
The National
Five and Ten
Heirloom
Cali N Tito's (Brazilian)
Tlaloc (Mexican)
Butt Hutt BBQ
Mayflower Cafe (Athens' version of Louie's)

RIP the Russian place on Lumpkin and the Argentinian place I don't remember where it was.

A lot of good recommendations here but, you never clarified which meal of the day so I will add.

The Mayflower - Breakfast
Taqueria del Sol - Lunch
Seabear Oyster Bar - Dinner

Will need to try. Oysters in the Atlanta metro are expensive and often underwhelming so I have been hesitant to go to a seafood place in Athens.

I went to George’s low country last week and they have oysters for $8.95/dozen on Tuesdays. At that price we decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised.

When we went someone recommended Mama's Boy for breakfast. We didn't get to go because it was a gameday and we didn't have the time to wait as we needed to get to Atlanta.

It's very good.

I'd also pick Cali N Tito's over Taqueria Del Sol.

I don't think I'd call Cali N Tito's Brazilian though.

If you do decide to go, Cali N Tito's is cash only. There's a gas station with an ATM next door.

I'd add Champy's to the list for a lunch or afternoon snack. Not the greatest beer selection but delicious chicken, sauces, and atmosphere.

Yes. I've been caught by this before.

And you can bring your own beer.

Taqueria del Sol has beer and tequila >>> Cali N Tito's does not...
