It should do well at that location.

Speaks to the overall poor quality of Louisiana BBQ. Never had Sonny's but looks to be on par with something like Dickey's.

Always loved the food but hated the location after dark.

It’s been years but the smoked chicken quarters were good.

Sonnys is a good chain-quality barbecue place. It’s not homemade local bbq and it’s not going to win awards, but it’s a good meal for a good price.

Give it a try. May surprise you.

There were several around the metro Atlanta, but most have closed. I never thought much of their BBQ, but they had a good salad bar and the chicken was okay.
It was inferior to the Dickies BBQ chain around here, by far.

Their one and only location on Florida Blvd has been in business since the early 80’s.
I wonder what took the company nearly 40 years to add a second location in the BR metro area?

I would put Sonny's above Dickey's by a lot.
At least back in the day when I used to eat there.

Sliced pork big deal with garlic bread is the goat.
Their fries were better before the flood. They also got rid of the salad bar. RIP salad bar.

Is this considered progress in AP?
