Garrett from Cove here, Lutanitsa is his grandmother's original recipe from Israel and is always a thing I have to get.

I was amazed that no one referenced the roasted cabbage but that is a must for an appetizer. He was the guy who created the fire roasted cauliflower with goat cheese at Domenica in the Roosevelt when he was still the head chef there.
The roasted cabbage has a muhamara side sauce that is typically made with walnuts but he uses hazelnuts and it's simply devine, ask the runner to bring you more, it's the only way to get extra.

but yea the lamb is a home run and a rockstar meal. bone in lamb that is fork tender with fresh whole figs and green herbs.

If Taylor is working the bar tomorrow, as him about his cocktails in development because he's always working on something great, if not the other bartenders can whip up something on the spot.

great choice for a meal though, the hummus has never really been worth the money to me with the great small dips you can order 3 for 15, but if you do get the hummus order the sultans hummus which isn't on the menu. Cheers dudes and LL. To Ol beers got tapped tonight and they're the tits

Still strongly recommend the kibbeh naya, not sure if they serve it for lunch though.

Ikra for sure. Tahini Hummus is excellent. The labneh was really good as well, as is the dip with the roasted pepper. The lamb shank was excellent but the Wagyu steak was money as well.

I like getting a lot of small plates there.
Amaes me how hard it is to get a table there

I think it's a timing issue. I've tried to plan ahead with no luck, but then checked on a whim last minute and got in.
