going to see the Tigers at Auburn. Any can't miss eats there or along the way?

East of Baton Rouge on to Auburn would be where I need help as well as at or around Auburn. tia

Queen City Truck Stop. 
All seriousness tho the North end of Campus is Toomers Corner. Its kinda like our North Gates/Chimes Street. Got a couple eateries and bars in that area.

Stop at the dreamland BBQ in mobile.....wish the one here hadn't closed down but BBQ doesn't do well in louisiana

Auburn's kinda lame for food unless you're willing to spend money.
Acre is one of the best restaurants in the South. You should try to get reservations but it's most likely booked.
Zazu in Opelika is good. A bit out of the way but fancy and good. Amsterdam is a good spot in town, but it's too pricey for what you get.
Moe's BBQ has great everything except BBQ pork. I'm not a fan of it, but their BBQ wings are great. Good smoked chicken. Catfish is edible. Their sides are usually amazing.
Mike and Ed's has good BBQ pork and is much cheaper.
Other than that? Uuhhh...well that's about it for Auburn eats.

Nah.
Taste of Asia inside the Asian Supermarket is a fantastic authentic Chinese restaurant. Wooden Chopsticks is a solid Sichuan Chinese spot. La Plaza and Durango are great, cheap authentic Mexican spots (though both lack in atmosphere). Personally, I think Bombay Indian Grill is pretty solid, but that may be just because it's the only decent Indian food in Auburn. Live Oaks is a good atmosphere with better than average food.

Auburn's food scene sucks to be honest. I would try and get a reservation for Acre Friday and then just participate in some tailgating Saturday.

I agree just tailgate sat...not many food choices but a nice small college town...more beer flows there than food

Full Moon BBQ in Auburn was good last time I went up there
