I've seen people in shorts at Commander's. It was at lunch. But, I think Galatoire's is the only place in town that has a jacket required for dinner policy.

Certainly for lunch. Dinner, I would wear atleast a jacket.

Not my question, Glass. I know what you'd do....But, I don't want to wear a jacket. How bad out of place will I be????

Are you 14?

At dinner, I would say 80% of diners will be wearing atleast a jacket. More than 50% in ties.

No. However, my mental age vacillates between 16 and 32.

This may be a challenge...I'll have to think about it.

I probably can do a blazer...no damn tie unless I'm coming from a funeral, a wedding, or work.

I may be a rube, but I seldom look like one.

I ate there a few months back and it was one of the worst meals I've ever had. I got the filet. Luckily a child at the table couldn't finish his chicken fingers so we didn't starve. Great salad before the meal. The meal itself was terrible though. Wife got some type of fish that had no flavor at all. John Besh can suck my balls.

So you went to a place like August, ordered a filet, and deemed it inedible? Why in the hell would you order a filet at August, and how does a filet become inedible? You order it well done?
Not sure if serious?

Agree with all you posted LSUAfro, especially this part. Unless the filet fell on the ground and was stepped on by alot of people in the kitchen, I can't see how it would be inedible. Hell, I've eaten steaks at Apple B's and Golden Corral in the past, and the steak was still edible.
