what did you think?
I really liked it, it's not got the overpowering citrus tang that some of the others I've tasted have. plenty of hops but it doesn't make you pucker up. I prefer a little bitter in my beer and this one is solid

great crowd and a beautiful day
peanut butter korova is still my favorite but everything else they brew is excellent

Had a great time at GnarFest, hated that they ran out of the Rican but the Korova Peanut Butter was fantastic and the Big DIPA is a great beer as well. Gnarley Barley is doing some awesome things.

I didn't arrive till almost 3 because I went to Parish first. Didn't even realize what the line was till someone said it, I was outside and got my first Big DIPA pour came in and stood in line.

I actually don't care for the Peanut Butter Korova, however their Imperial Korova was outstanding when they had it a while back. Looking forward to trying Big DIPA.

I thought it was one of the better peanut butter beers I've had. Liked it more than the Willoughby and Sweet Baby Jesus

it's my favorite too
they had the imperial pouring at the little ice chest stand outside
I was wondering why everyone was standing in that long arse line at the bar inside, now I know

my wife is throwing me a 50th party there in November
the owners are the coolest people you ever want to meet and we are lucky to have them in backwards-arse Hammond

Hammond has some of the best beer/bar owners....

Between Todd at Red White and Brew, Anthony at Blackened Brew, and Zac at Gnarley... Now I haven't met as many owners as others but I've met these people and all of them are class acts.

Do you know if he has been the owner since the beginning?
When I was a Sr. at SLU my partner and I did a marketing project on Red White and Brew right after they opened. I wasn't a beer guy by any means back then, but I thought it was a cool place even way back then.

He bought the place from the previous owner in 2012, it was a wine/liquor store I believe. Todd admits he is more of a wine person and still getting into beer but now he loves it and loves trying new things. Also, when you bring stuff to share with him he shares with you, he may not keep the "whales" in the back but he will grab something off the shelf and give it to you.
Deek and Leisa Deblieux were the previous owners of Red White and Brew. Not sure if they had the taps at the time.

4 but 1 was for Glock, 1 for Geaux2Hell, and 2 for me... Gonna save the last one and bring it to Mudbugs or something in next week or so.
Although they had a few people from Mudbugs so maybe just drink it myself.

Was a great time at Gnarly. The big DIPA was good and PB korova was stellar! Let me know when you guys go do a Hammond Meet and Drink. I'm definitely down
