You'll be fine with slacks and a button down.

I'd go somewhere else, but that's just me.

The food isn't as good as the prices would suggest. Every time I went, there was inadequate service. Easily the most overrated Italian restaurant in BR.

I'm surprised you like anything. I don't think I have ever watched you say anything positive on here....EVER. Maybe you have and I just missed it.

The arancine' appetizer is good. The last time I went, I had a steak that was quite tasty, but overpriced. The manicotti are alright. The pasta dishes are all pretty basic.

Dress can range from casual to dressy...so go with what you feel...get the crawfish arancine...the Lawrence bread (you must ask for that...not on menu)and the Red and White Canneloni(you might have to ask for that too)...the house red is really good too....Tell them you want a quite place to eat.

George, had to be generic, but if you have a competent server (which I would assume you would have there) you could always get the inside scoop on specials and recommendations. You and I both know, the staff eats things that are usually done a little diff in the kitchen, and maybe they'll do a little something special for ya. Good luck bud,

Lawrence bread is a special topping on the bread...everything you will like...butter, Parm. cheese...etc.....Red and white canneloni...is one red canneloni and one white...we are talking sauces here...you will like these very much...white is pasta stuffed with cheese and topped with a white sauce...the red is stuffed with meat and topped with a red sauce. Tell them it's a special night and you would like a quiet location if they can find you one.

I see the bread is on the menu now....but the canneloni...is offered either or....so you will need to tell them you want the red and white canneloni...the arancine is on the dinner menu but order one as an app. and split it...If everyone likes crawfish...go that way if not go the beef arancine...I could make a meal on that and the bread.

Red and white cannaloni is money-have a good Italian friend turn me on to that. Slacks and button down a good middle of the road choice-some coats, less so than used to be. Food decent, atmosphere perfect for what you are looking for-ask to be seated against the wall somewhere, not stuck out in the middle-more privacy. Goes without saying, make sure not to wear a white button down when dealing with red sauce...

Tim pretty much laid out what I like to order with one variation. I like the meat canneloni and ask for the "pink" sauce, which is the red and white mixed together.

Lawrence bread is addicting.

Tim's right about the arancini. It's huge. Split that.

I don't care for the seafood canneloni. A friend got it several weeks ago and I sampled it. Too "seafoody" in taste for me. Not so sure the seafood was terribly fresh or that the crabmeat hadn't been frozen. It had that frozen texture.

The veal marsala is very good. I agree that veal dishes are a good option.

I've mentioned plenty of places that I liked with respect to Sushi, Italian, Greek & Lebanese, Taquerias, Tex-Mex, Central American, Steakhouses. It's not my fault if you only read threads in this forum once ever few weeks.

In any case, there were a number of other posters that shared the same feelings I had towards Gino's.
