No inside info, but would assume it will be a sort of seasonal. Unless they added in to the brewery it seems they can only do one of the giant 750ml lines at a time.

I'm about ready to invest in Parish. I wish they had a larger capacity and could brew some of these year round.

Right, but you made this thread acting like there are no other beers on Ghost's level when I can certifiably say that's false even having not tried it yet.

I'm sure it's a really good DIPA, but to completely dismiss the Abrasives, Double Jacks of the beer world gives credence to the fact that you're being a complete homer.

He already said UNMATCHED, what else do you want?

Having had more than my share of those two beers you listed, as well as several dozen Plinys over the last year or two, I can say with a straight face that GITM compares favorably with all 3. The aroma is off the chart, and it sticks around for the duration. There isn't a DIPA between Westbrook in SC and Parish here that even comes close to matching it.

I know I'll be dismissed as a homer, but I'd have no problem putting GITM up next to Double Jack or Pliny or Abrasive as a top tier DIPA. I'll open an Abrasive tomorrow and do a side by side blind comparison and report back.

How fresh is that Abrasive?

Sounds like the fix may be in on this one.

It's good, but this is laughable.

I have some NW beers that I would love to compare it too, but it's tough to compare IPA's side-by-side. Even with a palate cleanser, the beer I try first has an advantage...

Personally I thought the aroma of GitM was lacking. Especially when compared to Double Jack and especially Abrasive.

this. Great aftertaste and it leaves a dank weed aroma on the back of your throat but I didn't get much up front aroma.

Top notch beer.

Definitely not as potent as Abrasive. Double Jack, I could see it being close to, not having done the side-by-side.

I was more impressed with the taste and mouthfeel.

FW is the shite. #1 on my realistic wishlist to come here. Wookey Jack is prolly the best black IPA I've had. And Double Jack is top tier DIPA.
