Thanks for the offer. I get it every batch now.

Just realize I worded my comment wrong. Meant to say I didn't get to try it until Batch 2, so I didn't have the very first one. I think I've had all but one batch since then. Lucky to have a friend that lives just a few blocks from the brewery.

There were a lot of changes in the first couple of batches. Some batches weren't that good per the standards we have now for the beer.

And I'll trust Kim Jongs assessment of beer any day

I definitely read this board enough to respect Kim. I just think it's funny to compare ghost to any stone brew. No matter the batch.

Kim Jong comparing Ghost to Stone Ruination in this thread

The first couple of batches were way different than the current Ghost. It did not become a juice bomb until batch 4. I think the recipe has basically stayed the same since batch 6.

The first few batches were all over the place.

Stone makes some good beer imo

I honestly don't even remember posting that, but it must have made sense to me at the time. Like I and others have said, Ghost was a different beer back then.

Ghost was different. In fact, I think I liked it more several batches ago than what it currently is.

Just my personal preference, but it does show it has changed some. The juice is definitely more prevalent.

This is a photo I had in my photobucket from what I think was ghost batch 1... You can just look at the color of the beer and tell it's nothing like it is today.

Damn, this thread was way back when we could have 20+ pages of beer discussion without it turning into a shite show.

Nowadays, 90% of the comments would be trolls, people responding to trolls, and goat references.

Some of you are suffering from anti-homerism, in that you don't want to believe a locally produced beer can be as good as the great ones you've had from other parts of the country. The bottle I had last night was phenomenal. It's everything I want in a DIPA.

BMoney ftw
