I'd grab some Commotion out of that shelf as well. I enjoy it and like the cans.
And Albertson's doesn't get Ghost. I asked the guy and he told me they won't even give him one case. Poor dude.

Sent some DDH (both hop blends), Opus, and Ghost to my brother in DC who is a huge beer guy. He was blown away by the DDH but hasn't tried the Opus or Ghost yet. Will be interesting to see an "outsider's" opinion.

Yeah saw that. Figured someone on here had an inside scoop.

And lose the little bit of rare it still has? No thanks
Why do craft beer enthusiasts feel this way? The guys that I know that drink craft beers always value the exclusivity of a beer. If it's the exact same beer and quality does not decrease but it's more readily available, how is that a bad thing?

God damn I wish we had that selection in the stores I shop in.
You're in texas, right?
Just go buy some ballast point 6 packs and tip the cashier at least $5 per six pack. With that, you will at least have the feeling of buying Parrish beers

Why does rarity matter? If it's good - it's good. How does having to chase it down and work backwards voodoo to secure it add to your preference in an IPA/2IPA?

1 Opus
2 DDH
3 Ghost were his favorites by pure taste
Ghost was the best he said based on the fact it was a double that was that smooth
And he is the guy I respect most with respect to IPAs

I seem to be in the minority but I'd go...
ghost > bloom > ddh
ghost > bloom > ddh
