I went right before Xmas and had one of the best meals I’ve had in Nola. Amazing. I may be going back in the next few weeks too.

Damn. I chose Compere Lapin this Saturday over Gautreau's just because the online menu did not look too good at Gautreau's.
Oh well, I'm sure CL won't disappoint.

I think they have one of the best, most consistent menus in he city. Can’t ever decide

Let me qualify. My wife is a picky eater and the menu did not suit her compared to CL.

There are exactly three meals I've had in New Orleans where the daytime drinking had gotten the best of me by dinner time, rendering me unable to recall much of the experiences lol. Those three were Square Root, Delmonico, and Gautreau's.
