The lease was up for renegotiation after the first year due to the events leading up to the grand opening (Hurricane Gustav, road construction on Coursey). Obviously, the negotiations didn't go well!
I here there was a 20 min wait on Saturday night and a 30 min wait on Sunday just passed?
Let's hope his regulars follow him to his new location.

I don't believe it's the owner, but I do believe that "word" on here gets around faster and back than many of us assume ...

The Coursey construction didn't effect that location and it was all done in less than two months .. How does Gustav .. Which hit 9/1/2008 .. have anything to with an alleged one year lease option on 1/31/2010 ?
Who's going to follow him into a neighborhood to an athletic club ... Had they followed him at his faaaar better location he'd still be there ..

I am certainly deeply sorry that his business didn't work and never want see any business close in the BR area .. but don't insult people's intellegence putting a positive spin on a restaurant closing after less than a year at a major intersection with a 50,000 car daily traffic count ... Your lease timeline doesn't add up ... Opening a concession stand at Southern Oaks Athletic Club is impossible to spin ..
