It wasn't obvious enough to me as I didn't read the thread.

It's only a 4 page thread. So you're stupid and lazy.

And its not a stupid question, stupid. What's stupid is cooling down boiled crawfish.

So controlling cooking temperatures is a foreign concept to you?

Dude, trust me: you're fricking stupid. And lazy. And probably fat and ugly.

So after the crawfish have boiled and you cut the fire off, you use no means of cooling the pot off?

I dump about 12 half ears of corn in. Nothing else. I've never overcooked crawfish.

lol...controlling temperature to BOIL crawfish shouldn't be an issue if you know half-assed what you are doing, which, apparently you don't. There is no need to add ice. I guess turning off the fire is new concept to you?

Stupid, nah...lazy...sometimes..fat and ugly? def not...i'm a playa....lol

You don't actually boil the crawfish so I know you have no idea how to cook them.

I have before when I had one for making beer. I gave it away with the rest of my equipment so I just throw some ice in there

Good discussions here. I've never used frozen bottles because I am concerned about any chemicals leaching out of the bottle into the water. It might be a very, very, very low risk, but who knows?

I just drop a 10 lb bag of ice into it. If I'm doing a second batch, I add additional seasoning. If I'm doing a third batch in the same pot, I'll add additional seasoning. If I need to do more than three batches, I'm using more than one pot at a time. So I've never had an issue with too much water.
