Fried onion burger

Anybody ever had one of these? They are pretty big in Oklahoma. I was in El Reno, OK a few weeks back and went to a place called Sid's. It was delicious

Is this a burger topped with fried onions, fried onions in the meat, something else? BTW...don't think I've ever had one.

Man vs Food visited a place with the fried onion burger.
Basically a normal burger then a big arse handful of onions are put on top then squished into the burger.
The one on the show looked dry as hell. I do love the hell out of grilled or fried onions and I can't put enough of them on top of a burger.

Couple of years ago, I stopped in El Reno just to eat one of these burgers. I had to order a second one. There's more than one stand in town as one chef would leave a place to open his own. I think I visited Sid's.

Triple D visited a spot in OK City that did a burger like that...looked pretty tasty to me.
